La line-up vede il ritorno di Microsoft dopo la defezione dello scorso anno.
Microsoft, dopo un 2012 in cui aveva rinunciato a partecipare ad eventi come il GamesCom di Colonia e proprio il Tokyo Game Show per concentrarsi su incontri minori, a beneficio soprattutto della stampa specializzata, quest’anno si ripresenterà al Makuhari Messe e affiancherà Sony come unici due costruttori hardware presenti alla fiera.
Confermate le partecipazioni di quasi tutti i publisher più importanti come Electronic Arts, SEGA, Namco-Bandai, Square-Enix e Capcom; mentre per Konami e Level-5 si prospetta un’esposizione di profilo leggermente più basso: dagli accrediti risulta che la loro presenza sarà limitata allo spazio dedicato ai più giovani e alla sola Business Meeting Area.
